Job Description:

I am seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer with an E-learning and Instructor Lead Training (ILT) courseware design/development experience background to join our training development team, and create outstanding instructional content for Government programs. This is a mid-level position that includes the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) of instruction using Instructional Systems Design principles and adult learning theory.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and write learning objectives and instructional requirements
  • Write and structure content and activities for adult learning in computer-based and ILT environments
  • Develop assessment instruments and metrics for evaluating learning effectiveness
  • Perform instructional analysis
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
  • Select appropriate instructional strategies
  • Develop instructional materials
  • Design and conduct formative and summative evaluations
  • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences (verbally and in written form)
  • Work independently and within a team structure

 

  • Program needs are for / DCMA – Defense Contract Management Agency, new client…  The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) is the Department of Defense (DoD) component that works directly with Defense suppliers to help ensure that DoD, Federal, and allied government supplies and services are delivered on time, at projected cost, and meet all performance requirements.
  • DCMA directly contributes to the military readiness of the United States and its allies, and helps preserve the nation's freedom
  • No Master Degree required, would be nice if they are in process of completion so they can transition to other programs (VBA & DAU)
  • Instructor led training experience, nice if they have web based training experience, again for potential transition to other programs
  • 6 months with the potential for hire
  • Word & PowerPoint experience needed.
