Position Description:

We are searching for a full-time eLearning Course Developer to fill an immediate opening and join the RedVector Team. This person will join the Content Development Department and be responsible for developing interactive online courses and training from start to finish, wearing many hats, including writer, editor, designer, developer and project manager. Ideal candidates will be passionate and energetic self-starters, highly motivated, hard working and have 3+ years of successful experience in the elearning industry. Responsibilities:

ELearning Course Development

• Use eLearning software to develop courses on a per course, per course series or per client basis. Course development may include complete life cycle development, including but not limited to:
• Needs or requirements analysis
• Content research and writing
• Subject Matter Expert communication and guidance
• Course design
• Course development
• Course QA
• Course integration into LMS
• Course evaluation

Flash Development

Audio Narration Development

Copywriting and Editing

Project Management

HTML and Graphic Design

Experience and Skills:

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology/Media, Training and Development
• Project management experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external team members and partners
• 1-2 years previous experience writing material for online education preferred
• Familiarity with graphical design elements appropriate for online instruction
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Experience with Lectora, Captivate, Flash 8, Photoshop a plus
• Fun, entrepreneurial spirit
